Webinar: Coaching Students in Career Exploration & Expanding Awareness of Nontraditional Careers

This webinar is for secondary and postsecondary teachers, counselors, career coaches, and others supporting students in career exploration. You will learn how to partner with students to explore a variety of career pathways, including those nontraditional by gender. Your students will benefit by gaining fresh perspectives on career options, enhanced decision-making skills, and increased confidence.

Presenter: Joan Runnheim Olson – Nontraditional Careers Expert 

Joan Runnheim Olson is a multi-certified career coach, workshop presenter, and owner of Pathways Career Success Strategies, LLC. For the past 10 years, Joan has worked in various venues to encourage nontraditional career paths for males and females. For 7+ years, Joan served as a career expert for Monster.com, hosting “Women in Nontraditional Careers” message board. Her article titled, “Breaking the Gender Barrier,” was published in ACTE’s Techniques magazine. Joan also contributed to the book, Work Smarts: Be a Winner on the Job, published in 2012, with a chapter on nontraditional careers. She doesn’t share fluff, theory, or "wishful thinking." Joan provides practical, applicable, no-nonsense tips, tools, and strategies.
