New Teacher Cohort Web Banner

This hybrid synchronous/asynchronous course, hosted via DreamSeeDo and Zoom, aims to show you who your "lifeguards" are to get you through your early years of teaching. Live sessions take place on Zoom every 3rd Thursday of the month from September through May, with asynchronous content offered in the DreamSeeDo course between meetings. The schedule for the live sessions is as follows:

  • September 22: Meet your Lifeguards: Course Overview & Introductions
  • October 20: Managing the Classroom
  • November 17: Using Assessment to Drive Instruction
  • December 15: Supporting Special Populations
  • January 19: Managing Advisory Boards & Business/Industry Partnerships
  • February 16: Evaluation & Reflection of Teaching
  • March 16: Partnering With Other School Staff & Academic Integration
  • April 20: Project-Based Learning
  • May 18: Reflections & Projections

If you are a new CTE Teacher (0-3 years), join the cohort by signing up via DreamSeeDo (click "sign up" in the top right corner). This course and all courses for Teachers and WBL Coordinators will be available to you once your account is approved.
