Following are online professional development experience that are appropriate for CTE teachers.  If you have other suggestions to be added, please suggest these to the Technical Assistance Center staff. 


LINCS (Literacy Information and Communication System) includes self-paced ONLINE COURSES, and searchable RESOURCES for education practitioners to improve educational outcomes. The resource developed by the U.S. Department of Education is designed for adult educators and includes many PD resources on developing career and work-based learning experiences appropriate for CTE teachers.

Global Competence Through CTE

This new project, funded by PMI Educational Foundation, and led by Asia Society in partnership with ACTE and Advance CTE, has been developed to assist CTE educators in understanding what global competence is, the importance for students’ future careers, or how to integrate it into what is already being taught in classrooms.
