During this one-day intensive workshop, participants will explore the role of both formative and summative assessments in the design of quality project-based learning classroom experiences. Participants will gain an understanding of what makes a quality assessment that truly measures student learning of both content and career readiness skills. Through facilitated practice, participants will learn how to create rigorous assessments, available technologies to rigorous assessments and techniques for managing the scoring of scoring of such assessments.
This workshop is designed for individuals with a foundation in PBL.
Individual registrants must be from a CTE content area. Teams are encouraged, but not required -at least one member of each team must be a CTE Teacher.
