The CTE Technical Assistance Center of NY (CTETAC of NY) announces an opening for Field Team Associate, Central and Northern NY
Reports to: The Director, CTE Technical Assistance Center of NY
Overview: This position will cover the Central and Northern regions of New York State, reference associated map, with services provided to both secondary and postsecondary CTE recipients and should reside within the specified region. Regional Field Staff should have a minimum of three years experience in secondary and/or post-secondary education, with a minimum of one year of CTE program experience. Field staff must have excellent communication skills, experience in using data, and have the willingness and ability to acquire additional skillsets. Overnight travel may be necessary; however, travel should be planned strategically to minimize travel-related expenses. Preferred candidates for this position will have familiarity with: NYS Board of Regents initiatives related to career and technical education, Perkins accountability measures, Commissioner’s Regulations, state and federal program, and fiscal compliance. Additionally, desirable candidates in total work experience should reflect expertise inclusive of secondary and post-secondary education and all CTE content areas.
The Region Field Associate is a full-time position and will be compensated via regular payroll, with healthcare benefits and with deductions for social security and income tax; and will serve as long as:
- the SED contract is in place
- their performance is deemed satisfactory.
Performance Appraisal: The NYS CTE TAC Director and Field Team Associate will collaboratively develop an individual work-plan and goals which will be reviewed annually and from time-to-time by the Director and Field Team Associate.
