A school district or BOCES seeking approval or re-approval for a CTE program must complete the appropriate application. Electronic submission is required.

  1. A separate application must be filed for each CTE program seeking approval or re-approval.

  2. An application will not be processed unless all information is provided and the appropriate official has signed it. To complete the CTE Approved Program application, the district’s or BOCES’ Board of Education must certify the application. The chief administrative officer of the district/BOCES (usually the superintendent or district superintendent) must read the attestation on the application and sign the document. The NYSED staff who review the application may request further information and documentation prior to approving the CTE program.
