NY CTE Best Practices
The school improvement initiatives will be enhanced with the use of the CTE program approval model in targeted low performing schools in the Big Five and other districts across New York. Professional development opportunities will be offered in traditional as well as self-paced professional development tutorials in CTE best practices. Research based criteria for selecting approved programs as best practices will be established by the staff. CTE TAC staff will be available to guide schools in the effort to be recognized as best practices, as well as assist low performing schools in the application of these practices in school reform.
