Ten NYS National Technical Honor Society Members Awarded Scholarships
National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) recently announced the names of 200 student-members selected for a $1,000 Jon H. Poteat Scholarship. We are thrilled that a number of these high-achieving Career and Technical Education (CTE) students are from New York State!

For over 30 years, NTHS has been the premier honor organization to recognize outstanding student achievement in CTE. Annually, NTHS serves over 80,000 student members in 4,000 high schools, technical schools and colleges. NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and promotes excellence in our highly competitive, skilled workforce.

Membership in NTHS is the nation’s highest honor for excellence in career and technical education. Qualifications for membership include an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale

(unweighted) and enrollment in a career and technical education program or major. To learn more about the National Technical Honor
