AMPED/Geometry in Construction Training for CTE and Mathematics Teachers
Do you want to improve your students' Geometry or Algebra results? Here's a proven, effective way to accomplish this ---

Geometry in Construction and AMPED (Algebra in Manufacturing Processes, Entrepreneurship, & Design), developed by two teachers in Colorado, have done just!  Scott Burke and Tom Moore  created a totally integrated, authentic instructional program.  The results are staggering--math assessments increase dramatically!

Geometry in Construction integrates Geometry and Construction (Technology).  AMPED integrates Algebra and ANY AREA OF CTE!!!  Students get credit for each subject over the year.

We are holding a 4-day training session for each of these two programs July 25 through July 28 (Monday through Thursday) at Thomas A. Edison CTE HS in Queens, NY.

Your school will be ready to implement the courses in September!

Training participants will receive  the entire curriculum (both in hardcopy and electronic format) plus all supplies for training.

Breakfast and lunch will be furnished as well.

Each participating school must enroll a team of a math teacher (either Geometry or Algebra) AND a CTE teacher.

the support by the CTE Technical Assistance Center On NY and the United Federation of Teachers)
